@Mizhir
She seems to be pondering about something. About something unpleasant. Nice character though. 8.5/10. |

Very cute face, amiable smile, adorable shoulder look, makeup that isn't overdone. All in all, like I said, very nicely crafted.
But that is it in my opinion. No character, just a nice face.

I really like that avatar, although there is something weird about it. Maybe it is because the picture has a hand painted feel to it, but the leather of the jacket looks very realistic in contrast. Anyways, good work. 9/10

The character looks very young. The round facial features and the lips remind me of a doll. The ones with curly hair and cute faces. Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing. I however like your smile. Nice and warm.
Your nose piercing doesn't suit you at all in my opinion.
Colours, lighting and pose are good.

I find the character quite boring. Sorry.
Nothing wrong with an average looking guy, but you could have used a less generic pose, maybe some facial expression or some light play to give the portrait an eyecatcher or two.

I do like your thumbnail, but zoomed in, I feel the character is too crooked. The shoulder line makes it look weird. Fix your shoulders, sir.

I like the portrait. It might not be the prettiest or flashiest avatar, but it has its merits.
This hairstyle is usually a clipping mess and you made good use of it in my opinion. The little clipping that is still there could be attributed to movement while the shot was taken.
The pose has a casual feel to it and distinguishes your avatar from most others.

I like that you are not going with the typical "badass supermodel in space, I'm going to kill you"-look.
Every Minmatar should wear her tattoos and battlescars with pride. You do that. In the zoomed out picture that effect is nicely emphasised by the shot angle and lighting from the background.
One thing that irks me, is the t-shirt underneath the shirt/blouse. It just doesn't fit the overall black, military attire you are wearing.
The smaller the picture gets, the more the monochromatic cholor scheme hurts it. It gets harder and harder to make out that excalted and proud pose and it just turns into a girl standing in a light. That is usually a gripe I have with very zoomed out shots.

I like the crooked positioning and the canny smile of your character, but sadly that smile is hardly noticeable because the whole shot is just way too dark.

When a character is that zoomed out and one uses so many dark colors I find the contrast between the character and the background isn't given.
The concept and pose of the character is used a bit too widely to be called original. Yet another old Amarr in the victory pose.
Zoomed out the portrait really has good lighting, nice detail and good shadow play. The only flaw of the zoomed out shot are the rabbit teeth. I imagine one couldn't take him serious, when he's barking orders.

I liked the character better before you added the augments. They don't really add to the monstrosity of the character - at least in my opinion. It's just more clutter on a face that was perfect already.

And you caught me. I remember you. You used to post here a lot. I also remember that you "print" really good avatars (by that I mean one awesome avatar after the other) and I liked them a lot. So thank you for your assessment and welcome back.
Your current avatar is an example of another awesome one by you. Saved to disk/10
I also like the one you linked. Completely different feel than your current. I like when people change the concept of their characters.
And laugh-lines sounds so much better than my wrinkles abomination. I even googled the translation...maybe that was the problem.
Two things I don't like about your character. First the jawline which seems a bit out of proportion - the mouth might be a tad too high. She still looks good though. And second the same tattoo on both arms. I know it looks nice and symmetrical and symmetry is pleasing to the eye but apart from some tribal ornaments I feel no one would get the same tattoo twice. I feel a sleeve always consists of many small little details and it would be boring to have them repeat on both arms.
Also there are some artifacts on your shirt. Maybe some different lighting to get rid of it.
Your character gives me the impression of a smarty but not in a negative way. Someone who just keeps poking you but you just can't get mad with. Cool vibe.

Your face is splendid, the shadows are nicely done, but your armour is just like every other armour and therefore quite boring. Why you reserve a good 50% of your avatar picture for that armour is beyond me. It completely overshadows your face, in my opinion, because it feels so massive.
7/10 (10/10 for the face, I like his friendly look) |
